Cold Staking error - shielded coins?

I am getting two errors while trying to Cold Stake. If I don't type in an owner address or use my unshielded address, I get the error "The amount to pay exceeds the available balance." If I do include my shielded address, I get the error "Recipient address is not valid, please recheck". My coins are currently all shielded - is that causing the error? If so, how can I fix it?
